Laura is a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Lipscomb University. She has a variety of administrative work experience within the mental health field and hopes to continue gaining relevant experience as she works towards becoming a licensed professional counselor (LPC-MHSP) in Tennessee.

Laura is interested in providing trauma-informed therapy in the future, especially working with victims of crime. Laura is Colombian and a native Spanish speaker, and thus is passionate about providing counseling services in Spanish for the Hispanic population in Nashville. Overall, Laura uses her own faith and spirituality to drive her passion for helping others find healing, and practices being a culturally competent and versatile counseling student. Laura is excited about bringing her unique gifts and perspective to the SESSIONS team!
